Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of afriQora (the "Service"), a farm and agribusiness operating platform provided by afriQora ("afriQora", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organization you represent ("you", "your organization").

1. The Service

afriQora provides farm management, inventory, procurement, marketplace, logistics, finance, funding, subscription, and related business tools for agricultural organizations. Some features involve real payment transactions processed through third-party payment providers (currently Flutterwave and MTN Mobile Money); others are record-keeping tools that do not move money on their own.

2. Accounts and organizations

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. An organization's administrators are responsible for managing who has access to that organization's data on afriQora and at what permission level.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another organization's data or accounts.
  • Upload or transmit data that infringes a third party's intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including through excessive automated requests.
  • Use the Service to facilitate fraudulent transactions or payments.

4. Payments and financial data

Where the Service is used to record or process payments, orders, invoices, or funding applications, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit. Payments processed through a live payment provider are subject to that provider's own terms in addition to these Terms. afriQora is not a bank, payment institution, or licensed lender, and does not guarantee the outcome of any funding application facilitated through the platform.

5. Data ownership

You and your organization retain ownership of the business data you submit to the Service (farm records, inventory, orders, financial records, and similar). We process that data to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Subscriptions and fees

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Fees, billing cycles, and applicable taxes will be presented to you before you subscribe. Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your organization's account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any account that violates these Terms, poses a security risk, or engages in fraudulent activity, with notice where reasonably practicable.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. afriQora does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that market prices, weather data, AI-generated insights, or other informational features are accurate or complete for your specific circumstances — they are decision-support tools, not professional advice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, afriQora will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by other reasonable means before the changes take effect.
